Description: Our client is currently seeking a L&D Nurse

Weekly Total

Hourly Pay: $25 ($900.00)
Housing Stipend: $770.00
Meals and Incidentals: $476.00
Total Gross Pay: $2,146.00

Position Description

Shift: 1 night shift needed (ASAP start)
Facility Details:

16 LDRP rooms
C-section Suite and PACU on L&D unit
4-bed Special Care Nursery
Experience Required: Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby experience

Unit Insights:

Closed Specialty Unit : Nurses are not expected to float outside of the Family Center.
Support Staff : Includes preadmit nurse, discharge planner/caseworker, maternity navigator, unit educator, and lactation consultants.
Facility Improvements :

2021: Introduced "Eat, Sleep, Console" program for infants with withdrawal symptoms.
2022: Developed a validated prenatal screening tool available in EPIC nationwide.
2023: Implementing Safe Sleep Calculator, expanding mental health services, and Narcan education programs.
2024: Focus on late preterm infant care and sepsis in obstetrical care.

License And Certification Requirements

NC License required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
